Day 23: Mark Wilson is the root of change
We are counting down to our historic Grand Opening. See you there!
Recently, Mark Wilson generously contributed to The Campaign for Evergreen Brick Works. Mark shares a bit about himself and what makes Evergreen Brick Works such a special place.
What has inspired you to donate now? It is so exciting to see this site come to life over the years after it was rescued from development. Evergreen Brick Works is the culmination of that effort to bring this central piece of the Don River back into the public eye in an engaging, fresh way.
My favourite thing to do at Evergreen Brick Works: Buying smoked fish at the Farmers' Market!
A bit about me: I chair the Board of Waterfront Toronto and was a founding chair of Bring Back the Don and the Don Watershed Regeneration Council. I also served on the Evergreeen Board of Directors for a number of years! During the day I am an executive at IBM.
Mark and Marlene will be recognized for being the root of Evergreen with a unique namesake tile on our Green Community Living Wall. Learn more about how you can be the root of change too!
