Our New (and Old) Websites

Our new websites

When Evergreen was founded in 1991, the World Wide Web didn’t exist, and few had even heard of the Internet. Even in the past six years, Evergreen's digital landscape has changed dramatically, and so has its online presence. Check out the photo gallery below to see some of our retro web designs.

Back in the ‘90s, our website was a simple, static listing of programs. It had a few sparkly buttons and textured backgrounds, with content updated maybe 10 times a year.

Today, we have a family of sites and web pages: a national site, the Evergreen Brick Works site, a Native Plant Database and a Newsroom, not to mention our regular e-newsletters, and our budding presence on Twitter, Facebook and Flickr.

Our web team updates the site daily, with the help of our Blog Squad and web editors throughout the organization. Our little website has become a dynamic and interactive space that allows us to engage in real dialogue with the people who make our work a success—that’s you!

Stay tuned for an all-new web calendar plus some very exciting updates coming later this year! And if there is something you’d like to see online, let us know.
