Jericho Beach Park – W 4th Ave and NW Marine Dr, Vancouver BC (map)

Bring your family and friends out to help Evergreen and the Jericho Stewardship Group pull invasive species, plant native plants and work together to restore Jericho Beach Park!

With its spectacular beaches and views of Vancouver and the North Shore Mountains beyond, Jericho Beach Park is a natural oasis for residents and visitors alike. But healthy appearances notwithstanding, the park is under attack by invasive species, threatening key food and shelter sources for local wildlife. Currently, these aggressive invaders are outcompeting rare native plants like the endangered Vancouver Island beggartick. We rely on volunteers like you to work together on restoration planning and monitoring progress.

Everyone is welcome! We will meeting at 9am at the wooden bridge over the pond in the middle of the park. Refreshments, gloves and tools are provided – bring your boots, sunscreen, work clothes... and your energy!
