Employee Planting and Stewardship Events
Looking for an activity that will benefit your employees, your community and the environment?
Evergreen’s employee planting and stewardship events are a great way to make a difference! A specialized planting event for your employees can build leadership, bring people together and benefit the community.
Evergreen has created a special opportunity for corporate groups to help enhance local green space by planting trees, shrubs and wildflowers in public spaces.
We provide:
- Event management and coordination
- Plant material (trees, shrubs and wildflowers selected for the site)
- Tools, gloves and equipment
- Training and site interpretation
- Water and light refreshments
Holding our Employee Appreciation Day with Evergreen gave our staff the opportunity to enjoy a glorious afternoon outdoors in scenic, natural setting just minutes from our downtown offices. We had feedback from employees saying they thoroughly enjoyed the day and felt they had contributed their time to a very worthwhile cause.

Where and When
Events can be organized for weekdays or weekends, rain or shine, at numerous locations across Canada, including the Greater Toronto Area, Metro Vancouver, the Okanagan Valley, Edmonton and Calgary. Please call for specific locations close to your place of business.
Event Options
Option 1: Design Your Own Planting Event
Choose your own date and time!
Activities: Native tree, shrub and wildflower planting.
Cost: The average cost of an event for 30 people is about $5000.
Option 2: Design Your Own Stewardship and Maintenance Event
Choose your own date and time!
Activities: Invasive species removal, mulching, pruning, watering, etc.
Cost: The average cost of an event for 30 people is about $3000.
